1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
1.1. VICAT, a public limited company with a capital of 179,600,000 Euros, registered with the Vienne Trade and Companies Register under SIREN number 057 505 539, with its registered office located at L'Isle d'Abeau (38080), 4, rue Aristide Bergès, Les Trois Vallons ("VICAT," "we," "our," "us"), is the publisher of the website accessible at www.prompt-natural-cement.com (the "Site"). This Site provides professional and private users (the "User/s," "you," "your") with product and corporate information regarding the Prompt Cement activity in France by the Vicat Group.
These General Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "GTU") constitute a contract between you and VICAT, outlining the rules and operation of the Site. Please read them carefully.
1.2. By using this Site, you unconditionally accept the GTU. You are required to refer to the version of the GTU available online at www.ciment-prompt-vicat.fr/conditions-generales-d-utilisation on the date of your access and use of the Services, as this version is the only applicable one.
2. ACCESS TO THE SITE AND PERSONAL DATA
2.1. Access to the Site
You are free to access and use the Site, subject to compliance with the GTU. Additionally, you confirm that you have the capacity to enter into an agreement with VICAT. You are responsible for subscribing to an Internet connection and covering any other associated costs related to your use of the Site.
2.2. Personal Data

3. TERMS OF SITE USE
3.1. Rights Granted to Users
VICAT grants the User a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Site. This license is solely intended to enable the use of the Site in accordance with the GTU. Any action beyond these access and usage rights, including reproduction, sharing with third parties, or unauthorized downloading, constitutes an infringement. The User agrees not to use or implement a robot or any other automated means to access the Site and its content and, more generally, not to attempt to interfere with the Site's operation. Except as expressly permitted by law, the User shall not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the Site or its elements.
3.2. User Responsibilities
VICAT upholds values of tolerance, diversity, and respect for others. The User agrees to adhere to these values when using the Site, particularly by:
- Not making discriminatory, racist, xenophobic, anti-Semitic, insulting, malicious, obscene, illegal, violent, or pornographic statements, nor publishing content that is contrary to public order or morality in any way;
- Not sharing harmful, defamatory, unauthorized, malicious content that violates privacy rights, promotes violence, racial or ethnic hatred, or is considered crude, indecent, or incites criminal activity;
- Not impersonating another individual or entity or misrepresenting their affiliation with any entity;

- Not infringing on VICAT’s or third-party intellectual property rights;
- Not spamming or misusing the Site for unintended purposes;
- Not engaging in illegal activities, including sharing content featuring minors;
- Reporting any inappropriate content to VICAT.
4. VICAT'S RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. VICAT commits to making its best efforts to ensure proper operation and permanent access to the Site and Services, except during necessary maintenance or potential outages. While VICAT strives to provide a good user experience, we cannot guarantee that the Site will always be secure, error-free, or free from disruptions.
4.2. VICAT is only obligated to implement reasonable means to provide Site and Service access. VICAT disclaims any liability in case of Site inaccessibility, temporary service interruption, or stoppage for any reason (including but not limited to computer viruses, unauthorized intrusion into a data processing system, or temporary service suspension).
4.3. The User acknowledges the risks inherent in using the Internet, including security flaws in data transmission and the absence of guaranteed uninterrupted access to the Site. Under no circumstances shall VICAT be liable for these risks and their consequences. Additionally, VICAT shall not be held responsible for erroneous information entered by the User.
4.4. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the User expressly acknowledges that VICAT shall not be held liable for:
- Any loss or damage resulting from the User's use of the Site and/or Services;
- Damage resulting from content, products, services, data, or information available on third-party sites or sources;
- Damage resulting from unauthorized intrusion or modification of Site information;
- Force majeure events as defined in French civil law.
VICAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR NON-MATERIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM SITE ACCESS AND/OR USE. IF LOCAL LAWS DO NOT PERMIT LIABILITY EXCLUSIONS, THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
4.5. VICAT reserves the right to modify or add new Site features, update content, or suspend, limit, or deny Site or Service access without prior notice or compensation. Any new feature will be subject to the GTU.
If VICAT detects a security breach that may significantly compromise the Site's security, it may temporarily suspend Site access without prior notice to resolve the issue. Users cannot claim compensation or hold VICAT liable for any consequences.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights related to the Site and its content (texts, images, videos, databases, sounds, photographs, trade names, logos, trademarks, etc.) are owned by VICAT or are licensed to VICAT by third parties.
The User agrees to respect VICAT’s and third-party intellectual property rights. The User may only use the Site and its content in accordance with the GTU. The User may not reproduce, publicly distribute, display, publish, or modify any part of the Site without prior written authorization from VICAT.
6. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES
6.1. The Site may contain links to third-party websites and data sources provided for informational purposes only. VICAT has no control over these external sites and is not responsible for their content, advertisements, products, or services.
6.2. VICAT shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from interactions with these external sites.
7. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
7.1. The GTU and their interpretation, execution, termination, or expiration are governed by French law.

7.3. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Vienne, France.
7.4. Consumers may submit disputes to the competent court under French consumer protection laws.
8. MISCELLANEOUS
8.1. The GTU constitute the entire agreement between the parties, superseding any prior agreements.
8.2. Failure by VICAT to enforce a GTU provision does not waive its right to enforce it.
8.3. VICAT reserves all rights not expressly granted.
8.4. Users may not transfer their rights or obligations under the GTU without VICAT’s consent.
8.5. VICAT may amend the GTU at any time, and users should review them regularly.
