Restoration of a marquise
Overview
A Bit of History
The A Réaumur department store was founded by Jean-Baptiste Gobert-Martin. It opened its doors in April 1897 in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. In 1960, the store closed its doors after many years of activity. The building, a remarkable technical feat of construction, has now been repurposed for shops and offices
Project
To preserve this architectural masterpiece, restoration work was undertaken to faithfully reproduce the previous store signs that had been damaged over time.
