Securing prefabricated gutters using PROMPT natural cement
As part of the rehabilitation of ovoid structures or accessible chambers within wastewater or rainwater networks, the securing of prefabricated gutters, small channels designed for water drainage, is necessary. To save time and improve precision, a simple solution exists.
Solution
When used in pure paste form, the rapid setting and hardening qualities of PROMPT natural cement make it an effective, simple, and fast solution for securing prefabricated gutters.
Technique
Before preparing the pure paste, ensure that the substrate is prepared. Adjust the gutter to the desired level before securing, and clean and moisten the substrate. For the preparation of the pure paste, prepare the necessary amount of paste based on the required securing volume. Quickly and vigorously mix the PROMPT natural cement with one-third of its volume in water to form a paste with a putty-like consistency. For application, place the pure paste of PROMPT natural cement directly under the gutter, even if it is partially submerged. Promote proper securing by tightly packing the underside and sides of the gutter while leaving a passage beneath the gutter for effective water drainage. Remove excess paste after the initial setting begins.
